Meet Doctor King
And Our Amazing Staff
Meet Dr. King
Pediatric Dentist Troy King, DDS
Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
Member of Academy of ALD (American Laser Dentistry)
Dr. King has devoted his life to establishing a compassionate “Dental Home” for calm, comforting, consistent dental care. Like various professional associations such as the ADA and AAPD, Dr. King believes that consistency is very important to developing oral health. The idea of a “Dental Home” means you have a regular, familiar dentist who attends to your child’s specific dental needs. We think it’s very sad when a child’s first dental experience is in the Emergency Room after a trauma.
Dr. King loves kids. When he sees your child on a regular basis, you will notice he is genuinely interested in their growth and accomplishments. They look forward to visiting with him and discussing their progress in life as well as dental hygiene.
Dr. King has intensified his ability to help his patients by maintaining his status as a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Dr. King is also an active member of the local community. Several professional and business organizations have benefited from his commitment to serving on their Boards.
Above all of his training and professional accomplishments, it is his loving commitment to children that supports Dr. King’s talent and training in the healing art of pediatric dentistry.
Dr. King’s Background and Education
Over the nearly 20 years of practice, Dr. Troy King has grown increasingly accomplished in his chosen field, ranking him as a top professional in the Orlando area. He is proud to be a Board-Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
He earned his degree in Dental Surgery from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Shortly after graduation, Dr. King’s rapport with children motivated him to choose a two-year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry.
His love of treating children carried him through the rigorous schedule of his residency at Pediatric Dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans and Louisiana State University School of Dentistry.
During his pediatric residency, he received intense educational experience in clinical, emergency, and hospital pediatric dentistry. After completing his residency, he established his office in Central Florida where he has been energetically serving his young patients since 1997.
Professional Associations
Pediatric dentistry is Dr. King’s first, best calling. He is passionate about his specialty. He has continued to learn to advance in techniques and technology through active membership in professional dental associations: The American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.
Meet Our Amazing Care Team
Katie
Hi, my name is Katie! My journey into dentistry started as a kid in Dr. King's chair, where I spent more time watching the dental assistants work than worrying about my appointment.
That childhood fascination turned into a lifelong dream of working in pediatric dentistry. Currently, I’m a college student working toward becoming a Dental Hygienist. When I’m not studying, you can find me at the gym or shopping at the mall.
Amanda
Hi! My name is Amanda and I’m a caring dental assistant who enjoys creating a calm and friendly environment for children. My goal is to help every child feel at ease and build positive dental habits while having fun along the way.
I aspire to become a dentist myself, so working alongside Dr. King has provided me with invaluable experience! In my free time I love going to the beach and spending time with my cat. I look forward to meeting you and making our dental office a fun place to be!
Lucciana
Hey, I’m Lucciana! I’m a dental assistant and I truly love working with kids. Every day I go to work with the intention of making every kid feel special, comfortable, and love going to the dentist. Working with Dr. King has truly been such an amazing experience.
We have such a great team that I get to call family. When I’m not in the office I am a full time Pre-dental student at the University of Central Florida majoring in Health Sciences. You can also find me taking Pilates classes in my free time. I’m so thrilled to see some new and familiar faces and can’t wait to meet everyone!
Sharon
Hi! My name is Sharon. I have lived in Oviedo for quite some time, having attended Lawton Elementary School! For over 40 years I have enjoyed many aspects of the dental field. I started my career as a chair side dental assistant, eventually moving to the front office where I help parents & patients navigate scheduling, dental insurance, and account concerns. I am happily married to Rick and have 2 great sons and an amazing stepdaughter.
At home, I enjoy reading, cooking, baking and trying my hand at crafty projects. My newest title makes me a grandmother to 2 adorable granddaughters. It is the BEST thing ever! Working in pediatrics has been rewarding and has allowed me to meet some of the coolest kids in our great city of Oviedo. Stop by my desk if there is anything I can do for you!
Mary
Hi, my name is Mary. I have worked in the dental field in central Florida since 1997, joining Dr. Kings practice in 2003. I have served in all roles related to the front desk and really enjoy seeing the parents and kids each day. I truly enjoy working with children and helping create a positive and welcoming experience for every family that enters the office. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband of nearly 49 years and cheering on our three children, who officiate multiple sports at the high school and college level.
Letti
Hello everyone, my name is Letty! I’ve been a dental assistant for the past 20 years, having joined Dentistry for Children in 2025! I enjoy working with kids and helping ensure they have a fantastic dental experience. I love working with our amazing staff and Dr. King as well. They have truly been impactful and make me love coming to work each day. When I’m not in the office, I can be found enjoying my role as a mother and grandmother. I look forward to educating our patients on the importance of good oral health, so they can have a healthy smile for a lifetime.
Evelyn
Hi friends! My name is Evelyn and I love working in the dental field. I joined the practice in 2023 as a dental assistant and have enjoyed every minute. Seeing the kids grow and helping educate them on good oral hygiene is truly rewarding. They also say the funniest things at times. While not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, pursuing all kinds of adventures. I like to crochet, bake, and do puzzles. I also love dinosaurs! I look forward to seeing all of our friends, old and new, at their next visit. It is a pleasure to educate and assist your family through their dental journey.
Liana
Hello, my name is Liana! I’m a Florida native and I have family living both in central Florida and Peru. I started working at Dentistry for Children part-time in 2023, during my 2nd year attending the University of Central Florida. I’m pursuing a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology, and I love working with kids. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time with loved ones.
Jacque
Hello! My name is Jacque. I grew up in central Missouri, having moved to Tennessee to raise our sons. We then settled in central Florida to watch our grandchildren grow up. I have been working with Dr. King since 2010, watching many of your kids grow up as well. From your first phone call to the office, to greeting you and your children upon arrival, it really is a pleasure to be here each day. There are lots of things I enjoy about working with Dr. King, but my favorite by far is the children! Being a part of a team that always puts the patients and parents first is truly an honor. When I am not in the office, I can be found spending time with family as well as exploring the many amazing beaches and trails that Florida has to offer.
An Amazing Office, An Amazing Team.
“Our family cannot say enough great things about Dr. King and his staff. When our son was 2 years old his front four teeth were decaying. We were told by two other pediatric dentists that we needed to have those teeth pulled. As parents to a two year old we did not want our son to go without his front teeth for years. We decided to try another pediatric dentist, Dr. King. He told us he could save our son’s teeth. Dr. King was able to cap those front four teeth. Now 9 years later we continue to drive the hour drive from Lake County to have Dr. King take care of our son. We trust Dr. King completely.”

If you grew up dreading the dentist, the idea of a "Happy Visit" might sound like a marketing gimmick. But in pediatric dentistry, it’s the foundation of everything we do
